Tim Huddart
Tim has an invaluable depth of understanding of the financial markets and their drivers derived from over 20 years of experience. After starting as an analyst, Tim went on to head a sales desk at Citigroup before becoming Head of Research in debt and equities for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Merrill Lynch. Tim was educated in Scotland, has a degree in Business Studies and is a keen shot.
 
Clive Anderson
Clive has over 20 years’ experience of the capital markets as both a No.1-ranked analyst covering the UK, Continental European and Global Transport sectors at Smith New Court/Merrill Lynch and more recently in the private equity and corporate advisory as a partner at NewSmith Capital. On a sector basis, Clive and his team secured advisory relationships with numerous companies and Government agencies. Clive’s early career began with P&O and Jardine Matheson, after reading history at Cambridge.
 
Claire Macmillan
Before joining h2glenfern, Claire practised as a criminal barrister for a number of years before joining the pan-European Equity Sales desk at Merrill Lynch, where she sold UK and European equities into primarily Dutch accounts. Whilst at Merrill Lynch Claire was involved in numerous IPO and secondary fundraisings, accompanying corporates on both deal and non deal road shows around Europe. Claire read Law at Bristol University and enjoys travel.
 
Lucy McFetrich
Lucy has more than 12 years’ experience as an equity research analyst, primarily at Merrill Lynch where she worked for ten years. For the majority of that time, Lucy led the Software and Computer Services team. Under her leadership, the team was rated number one by both Institutional Investor and Extel. Latterly, Lucy was head of the pan-European Small and Mid-Cap Equity Research team. Lucy began her career at KPMG where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant before going on to work in corporate broking and equity research at Dresdner Kleinwort. Lucy studied History and Economics at Cambridge and enjoys running and yoga.
 
Bill Baker
Bill is an experienced fund manager who has worked for several leading fund management companies for 25 years. He worked at Schroders Investment Management for 10 years, leading the UK Equities team from 1999 – 2002. He also served on the Institutional Investor Group of the London Stock Exchange and on the advisory boards of several venture capital funds outside Schroders. After Schroders, he was at Aviva before becoming Chairman of the United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust and advising a number of privately owned companies. Bill graduated in Modern History from Oxford before going on to qualify as an ACA with Touche Ross in 1980.
 
Michael Ansell
Michael’s expertise lies in assisting public and private growth companies with corporate, investor and governance matters to allow boards to focus on delivering their business strategies. He has many years corporate finance experience advising across a range of sectors and transactions and as worked with companies from the FTSE 250 to AIM as well as private businesses. After 12 years at Investec, Michael joined h2glenfern in 2009 to develop a market focussed remuneration consultancy advising on pay structures for executives. Michael studied economics and history at Cambridge.
 
Nina Harrison-Bell
Nina Harrison-Bell has worked in television and corporate communications for over 15 years – starting her career with 5 years at Thomson Reuters and working on behalf of clients ranging from the World Bank and the UN to Adidas and Siemens. Before joining h2glenfern, Nina helped to establish and then headed up the corporate production unit at ITN Productions – providing production services to over 500 clients. Nina has worked across ITN’s news business with ITV News, Channel 4 News and Five News as well as at the Associated Press and Sky News. She has a BAFTA nomination and a Royal Television Society Award for her work in the corporate production sector.
 
Clare McFie
Clare has over 10 years’ experience in the financial services industry. She has worked across a range of communication activities including PR and marketing for companies such as Jupiter Asset Management and Cavendish Corporate Finance. Most recently she was an equity research editor at ABG Sundal Collier, a Norwegian investment bank. Clare has an English degree from King’s College London and studied Medicine at University College London.
 
Ronald Kent
Ronald has held senior positions in the Investment Banking, Global Capital Markets and Institutional Equities and Derivatives businesses of Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. He has been based in the US, Asia and Europe and has advised corporate and government clients in both developed and emerging markets in those regions. Over more than 25 years, he has served as Chief Executive Officer of NYSE Euronext London, Head of New Markets Corporate Finance at Goldman Sachs and AIM NOMAD at Morgan Stanley, giving him an understanding of the needs of large and small clients, both public and private, at all stages of their evolution from seed capital to jumbo M&A and restructurings.
 
Neil Kirton
Neil has managed a considerable number of fund raisings during his career. He was Head of UK Equity sales at Hoare Govett and Global Head of Sales at ABN AMRO NV, before becoming Head of Corporate Finance and then Chief Executive Officer at Arbuthnot Securities. He has long standing capital markets experience and is an experienced advisor to and investor in both listed and unlisted businesses . Neil is a Civil Engineering graduate with a keen interest in tennis and golf.
 
Steve Goldman
Steve has recently retired from a 32 year career in the Investment Management industry. His last position was Head of European Equities at Credit Suisse Asset Management. Prior to this, he worked for JP Morgan and NM Rothschild leading investment management teams in equity research, portfolio management and client servicing. Steve graduated from Bristol University and enjoys playing golf and tennis. He also considers himself to be somewhat of an expert in wild mushrooming.
