Tim Trotter

Tim is a successful entrepreneur with over thirty years' experience in commerce and the City. He was founder, Chairman and Chief Executive of Ludgate Group, the international public relations company which he sold to Interpublic. He is also a co-founder of Citywire and Bluefin.

He is currently Chairman of a number of public and private companies and his business interests include Axa, Beachcroft, Citywire, Rathbones and Lexicon Partners amongst others. He enjoys sport and travel.

Tim Huddart

Tim has an invaluable depth of understanding of the financial markets and their drivers derived from over 20 years of experience. After starting as an analyst, Tim went on to head a sales desk at Citigroup before becoming Head of Research in debt and equities for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Merrill Lynch.

Tim was educated in Scotland, has a degree in Business Studies and is a keen shot.

Piers Marlow-Thomas

Piers is a strategic communications advisor to some of the largest companies in the world.

He has been marketing director of both Hill & Knowlton and Shandwick, and was director of strategy and development for Richards Butler. He enjoys sailing.

Claire Macmillan

Before joining h2glenfern, Claire practised as a criminal barrister for a number of years before joining the pan-European Equity Sales desk at Merrill Lynch, where she sold UK and European equities into primarily Dutch accounts. Whilst at Merrill Lynch Claire was involved in numerous IPO and secondary fundraisings, accompanying corporates on both deal and non deal road shows around Europe.

Claire read Law at Bristol University and enjoys travel.

Steve Goldman

Steve has recently retired from a 32 year career in the Investment Management industry. His last position was Head of European Equities at Credit Suisse Asset Management. Prior to this, he worked for JP Morgan and NM Rothschild leading investment management teams in equity research, portfolio management and client servicing.

Steve graduated from Bristol University and enjoys playing golf and tennis. He also considers himself to be somewhat of an expert in wild mushrooming.

Lucy McFetrich

Lucy has more than 12 years' experience as an equity research analyst, primarily at Merrill Lynch where she worked for ten years. For the majority of that time, Lucy led the Software and Computer Services team. Under her leadership, the team was rated number one by both Institutional Investor and Extel. Latterly, Lucy was head of the pan-European Small and Mid-Cap Equity Research team.

Lucy began her career at KPMG where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant before going on to work in corporate broking and equity research at Dresdner Kleinwort.

Lucy studied History and Economics at Cambridge and enjoys running and yoga.

Michael Rae

Michael is a chartered accountant, who qualified with Deloittes in 1981. After working as an investment advisor in the Middle East, he returned to the UK and has been involved in setting up and running several businesses. He currently provides consultancy advice to SMEs and charities.

Michael has a keen interest in food and sailing.

Jamie Swinton

Jamie has over 25 years' experience in producing audio-visual communications, spanning award-winning documentaries, commercials and business television for blue-chip companies. Jamie identified the opportunities in the converging television and computer technologies in the early 1990s and formed Magellan to provide on-line consultancy for the BBC, RBOS, Standard Life and British Midland. Prior to joining h2glenfern, Jamie was Creative Director of BrightTALK, the dot.com platform provider.

Jamie lives in Scotland, is a keen field-sportsman, sailor and musician.

Andrew Sutcliffe

Andrew spent 24 years as a stockbroker involved in institutional sales and corporate broking, spending 14 years at Panmure Gordon followed by similar roles at Teather and Greenwood and Williams de Broe. Since leaving broking he has been involved in the establishment of three successful media companies – Writtle Holdings, Eagle Eye Solutions and The Dubai Art Fair.

Andrew graduated from City University and enjoys art, skiing, golf and sailing.

Clive Anderson

Clive has over 20 years' experience of the capital markets as both a No.1-ranked analyst covering the UK, Continental European and Global Transport sectors at Smith New Court/Merrill Lynch and more recently in the private equity and corporate advisory as a partner at NewSmith Capital. On a sector basis, Clive and his team secured advisory relationships with numerous companies and Government agencies.

Clive’s early career began with P&O and Jardine Matheson, after reading history at Cambridge.

Michael Ansell

Michael’s expertise lies in assisting public and private growth companies with corporate, transactional, investor and regulatory matters to allow management to focus on delivering their business strategies. He has many years corporate finance and broking experience, advising across a range of sectors and transactions, and has worked with companies from the FTSE 250 to AIM as well as private businesses.

After 12 years at Investec, Michael joined h2glenfern in 2009 to develop a market-focused remuneration consultancy, advising on pay structures for executives at quoted and private growth companies and within the financial services arena.
